Volcano Ash and Sahara Dust Makes for Gloomy and Hazy Weather in Abaco

🚨 The plume of Volcanic ash from La Soufrière volcano on the island of St. Vincent in the southern Caribbean will start to impact us here in The Bahamas beginning on Wednesday with some significant reduction in the visibility and those of you with significant health problems like sinus, asthma, and allergies please limit your exposure to this dust plume and outside activities until the dust plume subsides. Hopefully, we should get some showers in the next two days which should briefly help but the ash (dust haze) will be the dominant weather feature later this week and next week.
